	Memo:	Dancer loves attention! Dancer's papers call him a bay tobiano but he looks like a sorrel tobiano to us. The same folks who breed and raised him sold him to us. The picture on the papers is certainly him. Their farrier trimmed him much shorter than we would have liked just before we purchased him. He was a little tender from the trim. We had him checked by our vet, who agreed it was much too short a trim. We shod him and he's much better but will be a prettier mover once these have grown out a little. Dancer has continued to be a little sore so we had him rechecked by our vet. The only problem she found was tenderness due to how short his hooves had been trimmed. She recommended we let him rest for a couple of weeks to give them time to grow out. Saw no other problems or long term issues. We are going to move him to our "Available Soon" page until this is resolved. Dancer rides slow and quiet. Great ground manners. Backs and side passes. English and western. Lots of trail experience. 	Memo:	Here's one that has been a favorite of ours for several years. We first meet Little Joe in 2005. He was trained by a dear friend of mine, Kathy Zimmerman. She used him in drill team, mounted patrol, and even during Katrina. He had more newspaper articles and photos in his scrapbook than most politicians! I'll have scanned copies of this up posted soon. This was the first horse Reuben had ever ridden bridleless and he did quiet well with him at the shows. We put him on soaked senior feed and alfalfa cubes. He is gaining nicely. It's not very expensive as he doesn't get that much but is an extra step that has to be taken. He also has a history of a mild founder. No dips or signs of rotation. Is sound barefoot on grass, arena, ect but is tender on rocks without shoes. He needs a family with kids to love! Needs a little weight but is gaining well. There's not a lot of flash and stand out looks to this little gelding but what's inside makes you sit up and take notice! When I first purchased him, the gentleman that delivered him put him in the wrong pasture. My sister-in-law, who isn't an advanced rider, hopped on him bareback with a halter and rode him across a busy 2 highway to the other pasture. His papers show him as a bay but the marking are correct and he is certainly 100 % paso. His father was gray and it is not unlikely at all for a horse to gray out. He is genetically tested (DNAed). Pistol is a beautiful mover with very comfortable gaits but he does require more than a beginner rider. Was spooky in traffic. Will move some with mounting. Please keep in mind that he hasn't been ridden in over 8 months when he came in to us. We rode him for about 5 min the day he arrived before turning him out to gain some weight and get his vaccinations updated. Then 3 weeks later, we brought him to the main farm and did the following videos. Has a very sweet personality and likes to bond with anyone who will spend a few minutes with him. I asked her to cross a difficult section of the creek and climb a very steep hill without the benefit of a trail path and she never hesitated. She rode right beside a go-kart, a tractor, and a heavy equipment excavator and never gave them a second look! Sanabell was listed as under lease to a young man that lives next door but, at the wise age of 12, he has decided that he would rather be committed to having time to play rather than work off board. I can't say that I blame him and certainly appreciate his politeness! Besides, he knows all he has to do is walk next door and ask to ride anytime he would like. She is patterned on cloverleaf barrels and other games. Has nice lead changes on the Texas barrels. I would think she would do well on poles too but we don't have any to practice on. Rides very quiet and gentle. Picks up all his hooves with a mere pointing at the desired hoof. Lots of love to give! Jilly has a lot more trail experience than he does ring and seems much happier out on the trails. He was very dirty when we made these photos and it was too cold to wash him. Groomed him as best we could. He's got a nice layer of dirt along both sides of his back that looks like dark hair. We'll get better photos soon.
